All final payments are due within 72 hours of the booking confirmation email being sent.
Guest numbers may be increased at any time up until 5 days out from the agreed date of collection/delivery (subject to equipment availability). Numbers may be reduced by 10% 7 days prior to the clients scheduled picnic for a full fee return for canceled participants. Reductions may not be made 6 days prior to the scheduled picnic.
Missing, Broken & Damaged Equipment
Prior to all picnic’s pictures will be taken to of the items used to set-up each client’s unique experience. Clients are responsible for all of Picnic Unmuted, LLC’s picnic items during their picnic. Should any items be damaged, stolen, or broken clients will receive an invoice to cover all damaged or missing items within 48 hours. All invoices will be given a 14-day payment notice. By making full payment for a picnic the client understands and agrees to the terms and conditions of Picnics Unmuted, LLC.
Picnics are quoted for 2.5 hours or more (excluding set up and breakdown time)-[-
o9-All picnics must conclude by 9pm. Overnight rentals are granted on a per picnic bases and need to be scheduled ahead of time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, Picnics Unmuted requires notification 72-hours prior to your scheduled picnic time. Picnics canceled within 72 hours of an event will be charged a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations that do not provide a 72-hour cancellation notification will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. To cancel a picnic, clients are required to send an email within the appropriate timeframe. All monies paid minus the cancellation fee will be returned within 72 hours to the payment method used.
To reschedule a picnic, Picnics Unmuted requires a 72-hour notice prior to your event. Picnics can be rescheduled by sending an email with three new proposed dates and times. Picnics Unmuted will respond to your request within 48-hours to confirm your new date and time. There is no fee for rescheduling…life happens!
Weather & Venue Availability
Forty-eight hours prior to your event, Picnics Unmuted will check the weather to ensure your picnic is perfect. If the forecast predicts a 30% chance of rain or more on the day of your picnic, we will reach out to you to discuss indoor or rescheduling options. When booking, we require all clients to have an indoor option in the event of bad weather. We want to make sure that your picnic happens no matter what the weather. In case you prefer to take the risk to proceed with your scheduled picnic on a date that has a 30% or greater chance of rain, we ask that you sign a waiver stating that you acknowledge the possibility of rain and accept that the picnic will be canceled in case of rain. We will not shift to an indoor picnic option, and NO REFUNDS will be provided.
Picnics Unmuted shall in no way be held responsible or accountable for any damage, injury, death or loss of income caused to the client, any third parties or properties due to the hire of equipment or provided services by the hire company. All equipment is rented and is the responsibility of the client until returned to Picnics Unmuted, LLC.
